Cage torna a far parlare di se e a rivelarci qualcosa su quello che sarà il suo prossimo, ormai attesissimo, album: Depart From Me.

"I have 30 songs and I am still recording and trying to put the album together and this free ep.The year has been really rough.Drug over doeses,best friend dying of cancer,nervous break downs and getting thrown out of my house.I am sleeping on an air mattress at Sean Martins'(HATEBREED) house in the north west region of Ct.(who is also my guiarist on the road for DFM) I have never given a shit less in my life.All I have in this world is music.I long for the road.I am truly happiest on a stage freaking out.To all of you who go through this kind of shit KNOW I am going through it STILL.DEAL with your shit or it will DESTROY you and all you love.I am barely hanging on that much I can tell you.FUCK trying to be a tough guy that shit is corny and childish.YOU LIVE ONE FUCKING LIFE and it will be taken from you when you least expect it so live it to the fullest.

In sostanza Chris ci svela che è stato un anno particolarmente difficile per lui (tra le tante cose la tragica morte di Camu Tao, miglior amico di Cage) e che per questo motivo non ha potuto rilasciare l'album quando voleva. Comunque ha 30 canzoni già pronte e ogni giorno si impegna a registrare nuvi pezzi. Promette comunque che l'album sarà fuori a inizio 2009, insieme ad un Ep in freedownload: Coagulator.

Sono molto fiducioso, e sento che questa sarà la volta buona, preparatevi perchè Cage ci regalerà quasi sicuramente qualcosa di superlativo!

Inoltre Chris Palko ha annunciato che The Best And Worst Of Cage (compilation prevista per ottobre, che uscirà sotto Eastern Conference, cosa alquanto strana) è un progetto che ha il suo sopporto ed è dedicata a tutti i nuovi fan del rapper.
