Better Dayz è il secondo doppio album del periodo "Makaveli" pubblicato nel 2002 successivamente ad Until the End of Time. Da parte della critica riceve giudizi migliori del suo predecessore. A mio parere quest'album è più completo. Si alternano canzoni con temi svariati, tutte accompagnate dalle liriche potenti e poetiche allo stesso tempo di 'pac, capaci di provare le più varie emozioni. Ritroviamo canzoni poetiche come "Mama's Just a Little Girl", d'amore come "U Can Call", che trattano la fede come "Who Do U Believe In", diss come "Fuck 'Em All", e canzoni profonde che contraddistinguono Makaveli , come "Street Fame". Ma come ho detto prima la qualità e la varità delle liriche di 'pac, accompagnate da un grande flow, vi faranno godere di questo album: ultimo lavoro prima della decadenza (dell'Amaru) con Loyal to the Game e Pac's Life.
Il secondo CD a mio parere è stupendo, con quasi tutte produzioni di Jhonny J (produttore di molte tracce di "All Eyez On Me" e fila giù tutto che è una meraviglia, da "My Block" a "They Don't Give a Fuck About Us". Anche il primo cd non scherza: qui ritroviamo "Late Night" prodotta da DJ Quik, "Thugz Mansion" con Nas, "Ghetto Star" prodotta da Go Twice e , come ho detto prima, "Mama's Just a Little Girl" e "Street Fame".
L'unica sfortuna è che è un postumo, ma secondo me ne vale la pena.
