Ecco a voi l'album più discusso del 2007! E' il ritorno del grande Wu, è il ritorno di un collettivo che ha tanti problemi al suo interno, sente l'assenza di ODB (R.I.P.), attacca RZA per le sue scelte. Ma nonostante tutto sforna 8 Diagrams! Disco dell'anno a parere di molti (compreso il mio) e soprattutto un album che fa vedere che il Wu non è assolutamente morto. Certo non siamo ai livelli di "Enter the Wu Tang" o di "Wu Tang Forever", ma siamo sempre a livelli altissimi. Le vere e proprie "bombe" dell'album sono: The Heart Gently Weeps, che è un capolavoro a mio modo di vedere, infatti il campione da "My Guitar gently Weeps" è azzeccatissimo e gli mc che ci rappano sopra danno una grande prova di maestria, da notare anche la partecipazione da parte di Erykah Badu, Dhani Harrison e John Frusciante; Life Changes, che è un tributo che fa venire le lacrime, la strofa di GZA è poesia e l'attacco di meth ti fa capire quanto davvero volessero bene al loro compagno scomparso; da notare poi "Wolves", "Rushing elephants"e "Unpredictable" che ti fanno tornare con la testa al '93, per quanto sanno di "Wu's golden age" (penso si possa dire XD).
Beh penso che, come sempre, il miglior consiglio sia: ascoltate il disco. Io l'ho sentito e dopo pochi giorni l'ho comprato perche, a mio parere, merita!

Eccovi uno degli album più ingiustamente sottovalutati del 2007.L'ultimo lavoro di MF Grimm infatti,The Hunt For The Gingerbread Man,è davvero un buon album.Il suo stile ,che a me piace molto,in quest'album si riconferma duro e preciso.La sua tecnica impeccabile fa di questo un'ottimo cd,la basi tra alti bassi surreggono nel complesso abbastanza bene l'uomo di pastafrolla,che ci dimostra ancora una volta che la scena underground americana vale più di tutto l'oro di questo mondo.Le tracce migliori secondo me sono Gingy Earth e See No Evil.

Disco uscito nel 2005 per Juelz,membro dei Dipset...Disco ricco di bangerz,dove l'erede designato di Rakim (almeno queste son le parole di Rakim stesse,non sappiamo pronunciate in quale stato mentale) se la cava abbastanza bene al microfono,con un buona tecnica...I testi non son molto impegnati,diciamo che è un disco da sentire in momenti di pausa e di relax dal resto degli ascolti impegnati...Le basi devastano,suonando molto sud,e tante canzoni son bangerz veri e propri...Tracce preferite: The Whistle Song,Violence,Changes,Good Times,Rumble Young Man Rumble e Shottaz (le ultime due hanno basi devastanti)...Se siete amanti del genere dovete sentirlo senza dubbi di sorta...
