Ecco a voi uno degli album miglior del 2007, un anno in cui tra tanti nomi già affermati (vedi il Wu-Tang, Scarface, Jay-Z) uno meno conosciuto riesce finalmente dopo anni a pubblicare il proprio disco. Un album voluto fortemente da Percee P che a 36 anni vede finalmente realizzarsi il suo sogno. Basta dare una rapida occhiata alla tracklist per accorgersi del livello del disco, collaborazioni come Aesop Rock, o Diamond D, per non dimenticare Prince Po ti fanno già intendere che l'album sa di Discone! Ovviamente nn va dimenticato il maestro incontrastato, Madlib. Non poteva scegliersi produttore migliore il caro Percee per farsi produrre l'album.
Penso che la Stones Throw abbia fatto un ottimo aquisto annettendo questo MC tra i suoi già affermati geni del rap!
Beh vi lascio all'ascolto e mi raccomando supportate quest'artista!

Oggi parliamo del primo album di Mad Skillz che uscì nel 1996. L'album in questione venne pubblicato dalla Atlantic/BIG BEAT che offrì al giovane Skillz un contratto dopo aver vinto un contest organizzato dall'etichetta stessa!!

Skillz in From Where??? può contare su ottime collaborazioni (Q Tip e Large Professor su tutti) e sulle produzioni eccellenti di Buckwild, The Beatnuts, J Dilla e del già citato Large Professor.

Attualmente l'album è fuori stampa e nella maggior parte dei casi si trova a prezzi alti!!

Oggi discone pauroso gente!Anno 1996,e i Foesum escono con il loro primo disco dal titolo Perfection...Beh mi pare che il titolo sia il più azzeccato possibile,dato che non c'è una pecca nel disco...G Funk a manetta e i 3 a rapparci sopra divinamente...Senza dubbio uno dei miei dischi G Funk preferiti,tra i primi 3 di sicuro con Warren G e i Twinz...Tracce prodotte da DJ Glaze e Tony G.,e feat come i Twinz appunto,o Bo Rocc dei The Dove Shack rendono questo disco un classico della costa Ovest degli USA!Tracce preferite:su tutte Lil Somethin' Somethin',Come Take a Ride,Listen To The Sound e Ultimate Collaboration con i Twinz...Da avere senza dubbi di sorta!

Uno dei miei dischi preferiti in assoluto...Rap dall'Australia,che si rivela una delle bombe del 2006,se non il mio disco preferito...Non me ne vogliano gli americani,ma agli Hilltop non manca niente per sfondare e The Hard Road è la prova lampante di ciò che dico!!Tracce come Recapturing The Vibe o Circuit Breaker son devastanti e l'mc Suffa ha un flow e una metrica impressionante,che spingono a tenersi il disco sotto mano ogni istante per risentirlo...Ma nel disco son presenti anche tracce stupende e più adatte ad un relax,come Monster Ball o Hard Road...Insomma un prodotto vario,fresco destinato a stupirvi...Il prezzo del disco è un pò alto,ma io ho speso volentieri questa cifra per un disco che merita ogni spicciolo speso!

Dire ke quest'album è fantastico è dire poco...Me lo han consigliato e viste le produzioni,che parlano da sole,l'ho ascoltato tutto d'un fiato e in questi giorni l'ho sentito già 5 volte...Veramente stupendo,gli mc sanno il fatto loro e gente come Rockwilder,Pete Rock,Premier e Clark Kent non ha bisogno di presentazioni...Tracce tutte bellissime,le migliori Daydreaming (testo stupendo),Get Paid,Move On You,The Hot Joint,Afta Hourz e Priceless...Da avere,sto per acquistarlo originale da quanto mi è piaciuto!!

Dodici anni fa usciva uno degli album più attesi. Tupac usciva di prigione dopo aver firmato con la Death Row e dopo aver venduto 2 milioni di copie con l'album "Me Against the World". Subito si mise al lavoro e in due settimane ecco pronto un album inizialmente pianificato con il titolo di "Euphanasia". Il titolo venne cambiato ed la tracklist cambiata rendendo il tutto un doppio cd ('Pac non fu totalmente soddisfatto del risultato finale, ma dovette sottostare alle regole della major), più precisamente il primo album della storia del rap ad uscire sotto forma di due cd. Produzioni di Daz Dillinger, Jhonny J, Dj Quik, QDIII a Dr. Dre e featuring del calibro di Snoop Dogg, Outlawz, Dogg Pound, Rappin' 4-Tay, Dr. Dre, Danny Boy, Method Man, RedMan, Nate Dogg, George Clinton e Richie Rich rendono l'album un CLASSICO. Tutte traccie di altissimo livello ed album ricco di Hit che hanno fatto storia. L'album divenne 9 volte disco di Platino vendendo fino ad oggi più di 12 milioni di copie solo negli USA. Comprarlo è un must per un amante del rap.

Ahahahahaha,dico così perchè in verità io lo ho scoperto oggi,avevo la spettacolare The Mic Sound Nice con MF Doom e oggi ho trovato finalmente l'0intero album.La tracklist è pazzesca,e facendo qualche ricerca ho scoperto che l'album è del produttore di Atlanta Dj Jon Doe.Non saprei cosa dirvi,vi allego tracklist,link e myspace,a voi l'ardua sentenza!
